UBC Food Games is a content-based cooking competition. Each round, contestants cook a dish and film the entire process as a reel. Both the dish and the video are submitted to the judges for evaluation.
24h
Per round to cook and submit
Solo
Individual registration and competition
Elimination
Multi-round until a winner remains
Individual Entry
Each contestant registers and competes individually. No teams.
24-Hour Window
Once a round begins, you have exactly 24 hours to cook your dish, film the process, and submit both.
Film Everything
Your cooking process must be recorded as a reel. This is not optional — the reel is part of your submission, however it will not be judged
Present to Judges
Each dish is presented to the judges along with your reel. Taste, creativity, and presentation all matter.
Elimination Format
Judges decide who advances each round. If your dish doesn't make the cut, you're out.
Original Work Only
All cooking must be done by you during the round window. No pre-made dishes, no outside help.
